For Your Information
BIBLE STUDY: Meetings are on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the
Connector. This study is led by Bob Meyer and is intended to deepen our
understanding of Scripture and be a discussion of how to apply what is
written in the Holy Bible to our lives.
THE SHAWL MINISTRY is meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room.
If you are not on our mailing list, there are copies of the current
TOWER at both entrances to the church.
IF YOU NEED HELP: If you are in need of
assistance due to illness, infirmity, or some reason of being
incapacitated, we want to help. Neighbors-in-Need volunteers
(through Social Concerns) can help with driving, errands, some handyman
services, housekeeping and assistance, technical help, or odd jobs.
If you are in need of church resources, In-Reach
(through the Diaconate) can arrange for visits at home or in the
hospital, consultations and assistance to help you on the road to
recovery.
Call the Church Office at 388-3008.
NEED PRAYER? The prayer chain is confidential. Please
contact Cathie Thomas or the Church Office.
CROMWELL CHILDREN’S HOME: Don’t forget to save your
Campbell’s, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson, V-8, Vlasic, and Franco American
labels! These are taken to the Cromwell Children’s Home and redeemed
for supplies. There is a box in the Church Office for your collection.
Thanks for your help! The Women's groups of First Church are
supporters of the Cromwell Children's Home.
